The greenhouse gas emissions avoided will be approximately 93 kg eCO2/fixture/yr***.
***Based on 0.242 kg eCO2/kWh
Performance charts to be updated soon.
“The Vine Street pilot clearly demonstrates that LED street lighting can successfully replace existing high pressure sodium luminaries and provide the benefit of reduced energy consumption, more uniform light distribution, improved colour rendition and potential long-term maintenance savings. While further study is requires before any large scale installations can be considered, this project has provided us with invaluable information into the applicability of the technology.
